Performance Management

Design and Rollout of Performance Management System

The Project

Our client, a private sector client in the UAE, ran performance reviews purely based on their line manager’s feedback. They wanted to change to a more holistic approach based on feedback from a wider group of colleagues and codified competencies then roll out a tool to support the new process.

The Results

Transparent performance management system with approval rate of greater than 80 percent across all employees

Time saving for HR
as the process is automated

Focus on
strengths-based
performance discussions throughout the entire year

The Approach

  • Designed a performance management journey that spanned the entire year from 360° appraisals to continuous feedback and learning plans tied to the appraisal outcome.

  • Developed rating guidance for different roles to ensure common framework across the entire organization

  • Led performance management trainings for all employees as well as feedback trainings for managers

  • Provided 1:1 coaching during first wave of appraisals for line managers for support with strengths-based reviews and feedback

  • Rolled out a performance management tool to support the process from end to end
